COLLECTION

Going through the bits and pieces, you will discover various mediums such as slides, preview monitors, negatives, film, scrolls and mutoscope reels!

Common

Coinlux Slide

Although the film stocks from Coinlux are usually considered cheap, they give off sepia tones which ultimately makes it a very desirable emulsion.

Uncommon

Funjifilm Slide

Funjifilm has warm tones with natural skin tones and fine grains. It is always a safe choice as film transfer.

Preview

These Sonio monitors are starting to give out… see if another one works, otherwise we may need to check that footage through a viewfinder…

Rare

Tokenchrome Slide

It is a rare thing indeed to strike the perfect balance in an emulsion, yet Tokenchrome has excelled at just that.

Negative

There’s a story within these strips, and possibly a clever way use these… we’ll have to take a closer look.

Epic

Fomochrome Slide

Never heard of Fomography? With quick pinks, blue greens, green blues, and a skin tone stays about the same. Yes, it’s an epic thing.

Cellulose

This film was already edited, but time has broken the reel into bits and pieces. We’ll need to reconstruct the full reels if we’re ever to transfer this to other emulsions.

Legendary

Cryptovision Slide

Although not an emulsion, the legendary Cryptovision is unbeatable when it comes to flares, blooming and the widest aspect ratio out there,

Plan & Script Scrolls

This production was well laid out with these scrolls. They show the director’s vision and the narration, like parts of a storyboard, sorta.

Next

Mythic

Defi Scala Slide

This package has some Defi Scala film. Photographers dream in black and white after using this discontinued film.

Mutoscope Reel

There are broken wheels with parts of the film and they still work, they just show parts of the feature. Old machines usually have varied results when turning them on.

Our vision

OUR STRATEGY

The Final Cut

Once all crates from the three locations have been delivered, that everything is sorted out and that we’ve familiarized ourselves with their contents, we will begin assembling in The Final Cut event!

Expect new designs for your blends, including some tools and chapter marker cards as well as a following phase to look forward to… let’s find out what the vision may be!

The Premiere

The Final Cut event will have produced some compelling pieces of media. All that remains will be to select which type of film to use for the final mastering and colorimetry.

While that’s going on, we’ll need posters, tickets, popcorn and a red carpet! We’re already working to book the theatre. This should be exciting!

The Director's Cut

Every cult classic deserves a directorial cut! This will be the perfect occasion to address any changes that we’d like to see!

On top of added designs from blending, there will be a need for promotional content such as a new trailer and more clever stuff that we’ll reveal in time.

Future's Relic

Like you, we really enjoy NFTs, and we can see so much potential, especially with AtomicAssets.

Included, is a roleplaying element where Future’s Relic is hiring you as an editor to assemble all the pieces from all three locations where the film sets were found. Now, you may or may not take part in the rpg, the collection will still provide a valuable story presented in clever ways guided by nostalgia, plain and simple. This IS the World’s First NFT Filmmaking Experience!

Be part of history! Try to mint the first Mutoscope!

Klin-Dakoil, our artist, has been working alone nonstop for weeks, juggling between his family, work, this project and of course his wife Argonauta, to which he owes so much gratitude for allowing him to pursue this vision. I really need to rest… I mean Klin-Dakoil really needs a proper night sleep. Make that a week.

We are busy in production, which is why we are outsourcing some of our tasks to you! More concepts are in the works, and as you can see, we aren’t running out of ideas any time soon.

Updates will be posted on futuresrelic.com

It looks like some lucky traveller has stumbled upon an abandoned film set and is donating all of the footage to us for restoration. We need to be ready for when these crates arrive.
